In Sync

In this documentary, I wanted to share what it’s like having a network of friends all over the world who are connected by one passion, and what possesses us to spend months working like crazy to then spend every penny on concert tickets. I wanted to interview my own friends whom I’ve met this way as well as taking the camera along on a little trip to one of my first concerts since covid-19. I aimed to show what makes it so special and how there’s nothing crazy about girls doing what they love; how it’s not about physical attraction for an artist, but about unique memories that created with the people we care about the most surrounded by our favourite music. It’s about traveling around the world and the added excitement that comes from the rush you get out of these special evenings. The challenges faced by distance and the pandemic helped emphasise the relationship between these friends and its perseverance.
